Did we just become best friends

Moving back home to Live with family was a huge decision that I made awhile back, but a decision that I do not regret. I'm excited for my future. Despite all the heart ache that has been done I'm finally starting to feel like me again.
I am starting a new life with a new attitude of forgive and forget, self reliance and rely on others, and good things come to those who wait ( hopefully I don't have to wait tooooo long for whatever it is that comes :-D )

Getting into good old habits like soccer and running, also gaining new good habits.and losing old bad ones...too many to share ;-D. I lost some old friends but I've gained some new ones.

Life is looking up and that is definitely a good thang

Oh Wowza

So for the last 2 months we've been chilling in our apartment. I've kept the older boy outta school and rationalize by saying I'll teach him at home. Homeschooling can't be too difficult right? Hahahahahaaaaaaaaaaa.

I am so terrible, I will say to the boys I have an educational video, and I will pop in Mary Poppins or Netflix somethingnlike the history channel for them to watch. But they get recess too. We go to the park daily with the dogs. And the boys play with all the children their.

They get their home-ec skills and first aid skills. He'll they even help me put a lil fire out (don't use paper towels to get things out of the oven).

We get movement actives in thru You Tubing the xbox kinects dance central.

They already mastered the computer skills thing. My 3 year old navigates his way thru MY iPad2 and MY android phone faster than I could even put up my home screens. We got out the super duper old Super Nintendo (from the 1990's) and my 5yr old has almost concered it. I declare
An automatic "A" for computer sciences!

We have arts and crafts time. We made candy sushi and we color and draw lightening McQueen
Military life is for people who like things they have to redo over and over and over.

Since I'm not one of those people I have to work around these boundaries and make my own which means that until I am in Utah for this summer and until tylers school is over. Mary Poppins
Gets to play teacher and net Nanny too during educational video time, while mama gets a shower in.

I am a Brown skinned budgeting Redkneck?

forgive my english and writing skills, I aint no good at writing no more. :-)

We are Budgeting. So, instead of buying things we NEED(WANT Want want...),  we have been trying to find alternative ways of doing and buying the things we NEED(WANT Want want...).
Like for Christmas we wanted to get the new XBOX KINECT, with the highest rated game Dance Central. To get it would have made it our only christmas present.  I didn't want my one and only christmas present to be a video game (that i'd have to share too).  I'm a grown ass MATEWER(mature) Woman, I deserve to play my video games with out having to share, if i get a video game its gonna be mine and not yours. I really me to say i deserve to get Jewelry, or Shoes or perfume for christmas; Not just ONE Xbox.
I am a mature grown a** Woman!
Christmas, we did in fact NOT get the kinect due to budgeting ( we thought we would end up buying it for Christmas so we were proud of ourselves for not buying it).
We, Did get to play it at Nana and Papa's house and it was so so so much fun.  We played it every day for hours. Ryker was hooked! He's my little hip hop dancing 5 yr old (so so so cute).

I have A question for you to think about, keep it to yourself or to someone else other than me. (I don't want to know what you think because, I've already decided what i thought about the question). The question is : Am I "Red Knecked" or Clever @ budgeting?

After my One month Christmas vacation was over, i flew home. I was now away from Nana and Papa's house; away from the Xbox Kinect and Dance Central.  I wanted to play Dance central really bad.

I googled Dance Central, the first Link that Popped up was Youtube.com . It had really nice recordings of the TV screen, while somebody played the game. I opened the link and the first song/dance that came up was Poker face.  I clicked on the Video and it was almost I was the one playing the Kinect.

BEST IDEA EVER.  I could play the kinect for FREE, in my own home; NO MONEY DOWN!
I looked up my favorite song on Dance Central (via Youtube), ZIPPP there is was right in front of me. The best part is Youtube dance central shows me "playing" it really good, hardly any Red zones on my body (even if it happens to be a 250lb male body reflecting at me). And the "DING" went off in my head.

I hooked my Macbook up to my Sony tv (via HDMI cables).  I then looked Dance Central up thru Youtube, and instantly started playing/dancing my favorite song Pon de Replay medium, in my living room. My son Ryker came in when he heard his favorite song/dance: Solja Boy.  It was like he was hypnotized and he started dancing and wouldn't stop.

So I now put Dance central on (via youtube), and let my Five year old believe that not only do we have a Kinect with dance central, but also that he is the one playing the game and not the screen of a 350lb 25yr, recently single female.

Is it "Redknecked" of me to "pretend play" the Kinect Dance Central; Due to Budgeting?  Or, is it a "Wow, you are creative when your backed into a budgeting corner" idea?
I personally think it was a very POSH idea, and I should get a lot of credits from fellow budgeters.

I guess it's how you look at it, but if you do think it's rednecked; then the jokes on you because I'm not the one who spent 300.00 to 400.00, on a gaming set. I will keep that money and put it towards the cruise when I retire thank you very much.
